UNDERSTANDING SUPERYACHT & BUSINESS JET TAX 2023
Brussels played host to Understanding Superyacht & Business Jet Tax 2023, a one-day international forum that brought together leading figures from the superyacht and business aviation industries to discuss the evolving landscape of taxation, VAT, and regulatory compliance.
Held in the heart of the European Union, the event provided a timely opportunity to examine how changing fiscal frameworks impact yacht and jet ownership, operation, and management across multiple jurisdictions. The 2023 edition was particularly significant, marking the launch of two major initiatives aimed at improving cooperation and transparency in the sector: the Superyacht & Business Aviation VAT Think Tank (SYBA_VTT) and a business aviation expert group led by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA).
