Who we are?
Independent VAT and Customs group of discussion
This project intends to put together international VAT experts from the fields of law, accounting, and economics from different sub-domains legislation, planning, execution, and compliance, but with a special interest in the industries of reference which characterize for their peculiar particularities.
What is it?
Cooperative organization
It can be characterized as a dynamic think tank, serving as an intellectual hub for the generation of innovative ideas, critical analysis, and informed dialogue. Unlike traditional industry associations, which often prioritize sector-specific interests, this group adopts a broader, more inclusive approach.
Its primary objective is to facilitate and foster high-level discussions aimed at addressing, comprehending, and contrasting the practical application and regulatory enforcement of VAT and customs regulations across the diverse legal frameworks of European jurisdictions.
The overarching goal is to drive forward the discourse on VAT-related matters for the collective benefit of public authorities, economic operators, and tax practitioners. This is achieved through the rigorous study and examination of current legislative frameworks, binding tax rulings, and relevant jurisprudential developments. By creating an environment conducive to the exchange and dissemination of information, technical insights, and best practices, the group aspires to contribute to the evolution of fiscal systems.

Members will be meeting on a regular basis for the review of specific showcases on VAT and customs or discuss new regulations that would allow professionals to benefit from continuous update and training.
Webinars can be a proposed by members on-demand to provide a convenient way to learn on a particular topic or matter of interest, sometimes focused on an specific jurisdiction and other offering a multi-EU jurisdictional approach.
Workshops in international industry events.
VAT and customs workshops in the international yachting and business aviation events calendar.
As independent group, presentations shall not be bound and subject to commercial interests of any company. These will be mere informative and divulgate presentations.
